We Can Turn Your Napkin Drawing Into a Real Product

Polymer Design has 39 years of successful product Launches.  Polymer Designs is a subsidiary of Micron Plastics.  Thirty-Nine years ago we designed, developed, prototyped, patented the very first Floppy Disk Box.   Over the years we have had dozens of extremely successful products hit the market with a huge impact.  We say a dozen but really it was hundreds but not every product sells over a million units.

A few years back I decided to separate the design aspect from the manufacturing because some years ago  Micron Plastic was not really a contract manufacturer but manufactured in-house products only.   Many people came to us with their own design ideas and it was always an issue with our own manufacturing but I love to help people bring their ideas to market so we formed Polymer Design as a boutique design and development house.

Bring us your napkin drawings and we will assist you in conception, drawing, CAD, 3D simulation all the way to the world market.  We have dealt and sold to every major consumer retailer in North America.  We have also been instrumental in assisting various government agencies in the design and manufacturing of some very innovative solutions.  We helped develop land mine searching equipment to custom consumer luggage inserts to conceal weapons and explosives for the secret service to test airports around the world.

Our knowledge and experience is extensive, our capabilities are unmatched.   find a Design house that will design, develop. prototype, manufacture, and assist in reaching markets like Walmart, Macy's, Disney, Target and dozens of consumer specialty chains.

The Process

The Process is a calculated trajectory of 3 main steps.    That doesn't mean that there aren't any steps in between.  There are many, some revolve around money,  opinions, research, and careful planning but we can navigate these side roads with you.   We have to take your concept to a product.  Once you have done your due diligence we can move to drawing stage.   After the drawing stage comes the prototyping.  All stages are important.  Next, we move to pre-production, not time yet for mass production, you need to gauge your market and demand and if we are manufacturing for you, we need the time to perfect the process. Anyone that tells you that their plan is written in stone, run, a good plan is you that can change and move with the market, and manufacturing is always plagued with issues especially on start-up.

We have talent around the world working on some of our projects, we some of the brightest minds ready to work for you.
